~ SPECIAL NOTICE ~

Cabin Fever has and will always be a pickin' party that meets the needs of all who want a weekend of bluegrass music.

The main attraction has always been the jam sessions. Additions have been added to the weekend to meet the needs of all the Bluegrass fans that attend, including the larger facility to house Cabin Fever. There is space in the Chesapeake Conference Center set aside for jamming (wide hallways and conference rooms) along with space for Showcase Bands and Vendors. There is also space at the Marriott next door for picking and listeners.

Along with the 24-hour jam sessions that attract some very talented pickers, workshops are offered on Saturday that include all six bluegrass instruments plus vocal workshops.

Cabin Fever also provides the opportunity for a number of bands to showcase their talents for the fans and promoters during the weekend on stage with a full 45-minute set from each band.

~ Jan. 22, 2012 Update ~

Cabin Fever Pickin' Party Fan:

We hope you are doing well and had a great holiday. Wishing you a wonderful new year! the very best ever!

We hope your plans include Cabin Fever 2012 at the Chesapeake Conference Center on March 8-10. The Conference Center will have food for purchase for lunch and dinner with a cafe area where you sit and enjoy.

You will find two attachments on this email with information on hotels, tickets, etc. If you haven't reserved your hotel room (each hotel has a cutoff for special rates for Cabin Fever-early February) or purchased your tickets, we hope this will assist you with this. If you know of anyone that might need this information, please pass it on to your bluegrass friends.

~ Nov. 01, 2011 Update ~

Cabin Fever Pickin' Party 2012

We are excited about the new location in 2012 at the Chesapeake Conference Center. The Conference Center will be open on Thursday evening until midnight, on Friday from 8:00 a.m.-12 midnight and again on Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-12 midnight.

You are welcome to come in and listen to Showcase Bands, visit with the vendors, visit with friends, and play music in the conference rooms and hallways in the Conference Center. It is a large place. After midnight each evening, activities will continue at the Marriott Hotel next door.

A diagram of hotels very near the Chesapeake Conference is below. You can even walk across the parking lot from most of them. Book your hotel rooms today. The phone numbers are on the front of this flyer. We look forward to seeing you there.

~ Sept. 07, 2011 Update ~

Cabin Fever participants and friends:

We have secured a new location for Cabin Fever 2012. It is very exciting and we are so glad to announce that we will be at the Chesapeake Conference Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. It is a large center that will have plenty of room to us to enjoy a great picking party in March 2012.

We have moved the date up one week to March 8-10, 2012.

We want to thank everyone that has supported Cabin Fever for the past 17 years and we look forward to everyone coming to the 18th Cabin Fever Pickin' Party in Chesapeake.
